Book Blitz: Demon (Devil's Fury MC, #6)

Demon (Devil's Fury MC, #6) By Harley Wylde
Publication date: September 11, 2020
Buy Link: Amazon
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance
Summary:
Farrah — I’ve spent my entire life at the Dixie Reapers MC compound — one of the perks of being the VP’s daughter.
Except it’s suffocating. Leaving to start a life of my own was the only solution. I knew what it would mean if I went to the Devil’s Fury MC compound, even more so to flirt with their Sergeant-at-Arms.
Getting involved would ruin the little bit of freedom I’ve found. Then I ended up in the man’s bed. Leave it to me to find trouble around every corner.
My daddy is going to be so pissed, especially when I run from Demon, get snatched off the streets, and shoved into a trunk. I’m not winning at the adulting thing.
Demon — She was a one-night stand. Until the condom broke. Then I found out she’d lied to me.
The hot little number in my bed wasn’t just any woman, she was the daughter of a Dixie Reaper. Maybe I shouldn’t have barked orders at her, or spanked her. Feisty little Farrah ran, pissing me off even more. When she disappeared and I realized trouble had found her, I knew I’d do whatever it took to make sure she was safe. Only after I had her back did I realize she was f**king perfect for me. Watching her handle the club wh*res was hot as hell, and she didn’t take sh*t off anyone.
I’ll make her mine — permanently.
WARNING: Demon’s book contains graphic violence and sex, bondage, spanking, bad language, and scenes that may be difficult for some readers. But it also has a heroic dog and a man who will move heaven and earth to protect the feisty, smart-mouthed woman he loves. There’s no cliffhanger and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

EXCERPT:

At eighteen, I knew I had a lot left to learn, but I’d never get to experience anything if I stayed. The Dixie Reapers were my family, and my daddy was their VP. I’d led a life most would envy, but I couldn’t sit back and watch the world pass me by another moment. The only kisses I’d had were with boys at school. My dad had never permitted me to go on dates, or do much of anything outside the compound unless he knew exactly where I was, and I knew he had a tracker on my phone and my truck. If I’d lied to him, he’d have known about it.

My eyes misted with tears as I stared at my childhood home. I saw my mom peeking through the curtains and gave her a little wave. I hoped she understood and could talk my daddy into letting me come home again soon. Not to stay, because I was ready to stand on my own two feet. But I wasn’t ready to walk out for good. The thought of never coming back here nearly gutted me.

Prologue
Olive
The Day Death Welcomed Me
The Day After Love

I sat there with a silent jar of thoughts, which was consuming every ounce of myself that I had left. My long, unkempt black hair dangled annoyingly across my face as I laid atop my tiny safe place with my knees pulled up to my chest. The creaking of the ground sent dust up into the humid spring air from the thunderstorm the night before, and my attention span was that of a fly.

My window air-conditioning unit was useless during the grueling Kentucky weather. I couldn’t help but dazzle my stare with the dirt that danced just before me. It was strangely calming as I sat there, half-naked with my still developing body in nothing but underwear and a button up flannel, wondering if I would have the balls to die today.

My life was different. My life had changed. I was not going to make it until tomorrow. My script had been altered, it was re-written due to fate. The sirens of my heart were singing and screeching the highest they ever had. I was off track and at the most desolate place I’d ever been in my life. Isolation isn’t true when you are unsure about the thoughts and feelings in your head. I had ten-thousand emotions taking up space in mine. I wasn’t alone. I was in the presence of things that didn’t make sense. Truths had yet to be revealed.
