4.02 "117" 06/30/14 - Review by Corina Lombardi

Before I even start in on my review one thing must be said…

Derek Hale won a fight. Guys, DEREK HALE WON…A FIGHT. This is monumental. If you’re not an avid Teen Wolf watcher, this little factoid might mean nothing to you, but to those of us who have watched Derek get beaten, impaled, clawed to near death, tortured on multiple occasions, thrown off buildings tumbling to his almost death, and pretty much had his ass beaten in EVERY fight, this is epic. It’s bigger than the day I fell in love with Coffee.

DEREK HALE WON A FIGHT and he protected his pack. He protected Scott, like he’s always done. This episode will forever go down as one of the best for me. There should be a national holiday on this very day and it should be called the Derek Hale Day. I’m bouncing with glee and I’ve rewatched the episode two and a half time already (Yes half, because the third time I just skipped to all the Derek scenes. Sorry, not sorry).

4.01 "The Dark Moon" 06/23/14 - Review by Corina Lombardi

First let’s talk about how awesome the opening to this episode is. Exotic setting, check. Stiles and Lydia bantering, check. Stiles and Lydia being awesome badass detectives and walking into danger like they own the place, check. I am so glad to see that their friendship is still in the forefront this season. I was super impressed with the setting and music and basically the whole feel of the episode.

The Mexican club was awesome and I really enjoyed the scene where Lydia and Stiles were talking to Araya and Stiles busts out… “What make you think we came alone?” God…so hot. I’m loving Stiles’ vibe this season even though I feel like there is more to his happy go lucky vibe then they’re letting us in on just yet. It’s only been two months since the tragedy of Allison and the Nogitsune afterall.

"Moon Over Bourbon Street" 03/18/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

Klaus seems to be in a sort of spiral which has everything to do with Rebekah leaving. Elijah pretty much tells him to snap out of it, but he'd rather just paint the days/nights away. Elijah then calls a summit with the witches and vampires and hexed Father Kieran.

Meanwhile out in the bayou The Crescent Wolves cure is lifted and they celebrate. Oliver tells Hayley about the summit and she's furious. She barges in and pleads the wolves case to be included. Needless to say the summit ends without solution and Elijah isn't happy with Hayley.

"Farewell to Storyville" 03/11/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

I had no idea this was going to be Claire Holt's last episode. I am truly saddened, but let me tell you she rocked this episode. Rebekah helped Klaus and Elijah shine in their darkness. Klaus wanted to kill her with the white oak stake, but Elijah wasn't going to let him hurt their baby sister no matter what. They reminisce on their past and how Mikael's abuse touched them all.

Rebekah tells him she brought Mikael to NOLA so that Klaus would run, but he refuses to believe that. He thinks she wanted him dead. Rebekah tells him Mikael was the lesser of two evils and if she had to do it again she would. Elijah prevents Klaus from staking Rebekah. She flashes away and talks to Marcel on the phone. She warns him to run and don't look back. The brothers talk. More of Elijah trying to calm Klaus, but it doesn't work.

Mark of a bad MoJo.....

This show keeps pleasantly surprising me. I mean every one's like a bad guy and they're all out to get each other. Sure you root for those who are becoming your faves, but you just never know who's going to die. I feel so bad for Rebekah. I was keeping my fingers crossed for her plan to at least get off the ground, but I guess it was just filler.

Her, Marcel and their past seem to be the real story. See you on the flip side, Hellzz.

She stops in front of one headstone with multiple names on it sharing the last name Chopin. She goes down on one knee and lights an incense, flashing back to 1920's NOLA. She's in the body of Clara Summerland. The redhead witch and her attend a welcoming ceremony for Papa Tunde.

There's men beating on drums and a woman dancing all around the fire. Then Papa Tunde arrives with an albino snake around his shoulders. He hands the reptile over to his twin sons and thanks the witches of The french Quarter for their welcome. He says he also practices ancestral magic like them to gain the strength of their ancestors. He goes on to say that a great darkness is coming and they will need that strength. That the city their forefathers had left them is over run by pirates, beasts and vampires.

He retrieves the albino snake and tosses it into the fire and the flame burns higher and brighter. He practices another type of magic, sacrificial magic. The power of sacrifice helps him to vanquish his enemies and that he will now punish their enemies for the agreed price. They must accept his family into their coven and him as their leader.

To die, but not before some scandalous behavior!!!

It's the 100th episode of TVD and Katherine's dying!!! Or is she? I'm on the West coast so you know I couldn't resist twitter and looking at pics and vids of tonight's ep. Let me just say when I'm a fan of a fandom I'm die hard. Keep ya head Klaroline fans. It ain't over till the fat lady sings and I'm not on yodeling!!!

"500 Years of Solitude" 01/23/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

Katherine while coding in the hospital dreams flashes back to being pregnant and going into labor. Her mother delivers a baby girl and Katherine wants to hold her. But before her mother can give her the baby, Katherine's father takes the child away. She pleads with him to let her hold the child just once, but he doesn't comply. Katherine cries into her mother's arms. Nadia shows up at the hospital and Stefan tells her there's nothing they can do for her mother. Katherine's organs are shutting so he's compelled the staff to let him take her back to the boarding house.

Elena lies in bed, miserable over her break-up with Damon. Matt and Jeremy arrive at The Grill to find Damon passed out at the bar. Caroline and Bonnie come barging in with break-up breakfast.

Jeremy tells Matt, Damon dumped Elena and Matt is like, "Who spends two years pining after a girl to dump her?"

Damon is listening, "I can hear you dumb ass," sits up and pours himself another shot.

Caroline is pouring champagne in a glass and Bonnie is asking Elena, "So that's it? You're just giving up?" Caroline is ecstatic, "As she should. I mean he did say, and I quote I am a bad person. I am bad for you and I am choosing to let you go." She offers Elena the mimosa and she actually takes it.

I totally adore Caroline. She doesn't let anything keep her down and won't let Elena drown in her own misery like she wants to. Stefan calls Damon he doesn't answer. He calls Elena and Caroline answers. Everyone heads to the boarding house. Damon is pouring shots and he explains the rules to Jeremy and Matt.

TV Show Description:

Family is power. The Original Vampire family swore it to each other a thousand years ago. They pledged to remain together, always and forever. Now, centuries have passed, and the bonds of family are broken. Time, tragedy and hunger for power have torn the Original Family apart.

Klaus Mikaelson, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid, has returned to New Orleans, the city his family helped build, the city from which he and his siblings – Elijah and Rebekah – were exiled a century ago by their relentless hunter father. Drawn back by a mysterious tip that a plot is brewing against him in the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter, Klaus is surprised that the city still feels like home to him despite the decades he’s been away.

Curious as to why Klaus would return to the one place he swore he would never set foot again, Elijah follows his brother and learns that the beautiful and rebellious werewolf Hayley – Klaus’ onetime flame – has also come to the French Quarter searching for clues to her family history. Hayley has fallen into the hands of a powerful witch named Sophie Deveraux. When Sophie reveals to the brothers the almost unbelievable news that Hayley is carrying Klaus’ unborn child, Elijah realizes that the Original family has been given a second chance at humanity and the redemption they desperately crave.

Kill a demon today, face the Devil tomorrow...

I don't read the spoilers or rumors so I was surprised as all heck. Missed opportunities? I think so, but we shall see? The thrills are still coming in the droves and all the manipulations and betrayals you could want are served on a silver platter. See you on the flip side, Hellzz.

"Apres Moi, Le Deluge" 01/21/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

Elijah's turn to narrate this episode.

We see pictures of different cultures: Italian, West Africa, America. Each had their own name for WITCH.

Over the centuries Vampires have fought them and beside them. Bedded and burned them. Whether adversary or ally they have been a force to be reckoned with.

Elijah, Hayley and Klaus all in the same room. Elijah is talking about the witches of NOLA and how their ancestral magic anchors them. There has never been one all powerful witch until Davina.

Klaus seems content knowing Davina is back in the fold and had no problem calling Elijah's Celeste evil to his face. Got to love Klaus.

Elijah still isn't convinced that Davina's sketches mean actual evil. he's thinking she mistook evil to be power?

Isn't he suppose to be the knowledgeable older brother?

He continues to question why the sketches now after Celeste has been gone for 200 hundred years? Klaus answers, "Why does any witch do anything?"

And Now It Begins...

I said it was coming. The EPIC 2-hour season finale hit its mark. Not since X-Files has FOX captured my attention with one of its shows. I am hooked like a fish. I don't want the show to go on hiatus, but this season finale guarantees a wild ride for sure. See You On The Flip Side, HeHe.

"The Indispensible Man/Bad Blood" 01/20/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

I love how the show keeps its humor going on the precipice of evil prevailing.

Abbie arrives home while listening to Crane's voicemail message. She mentions sending the page in Washington's bible to get it carbon dated. She jokes that he won't get the message. He texts back with a couple messages that don't quite make sense, but the last one lets her know he has poor telephone reception.

Of course he would. He's living in the middle of the woods.

Abbie is chopping up some vegetable when she hears a creak behind her. The look on her face is wide-eyed and worried. She quickly turns around, knife at the ready and there Andy is in all his dead minion glory. He greets her like it's normal and she tells him they need to talk about boundaries.

Crane is trying to figure out what the date they discovered in the last episode means. As he talks to himself while he researches Abbie sends him a text telling him she is on her way. Crane tilts his flip phone sideways to see the smiley face :) and says how charming.

We have a flashback of Crane meeting with Washington. "I wish I could tell you what the future holds Crane, but it is mostly likely you will be called upon to continue this fight when others cannot and when that time comes good will always rise like Lazarus from his grave."

Can anyone say clue here? Crane heads out.

Back to Abbie and Andy. She has him handcuffed to a water heater and asks him what he is doing there? He came to ask her something. She tells him if he's here because Moloch wants the bible.... He tells her Moloch doesn't want the bible he wants a map that the bible can direct him to. The map isn't something that Moloch can use, but her and Crane.

Us Girls Have Got To Stick Together

I'm liking this show more then the other one!

You know the one? There's two ladies and a young girl who whooped some major tail in this episode. Whether they were straight up cracking some bones or sparring with some edge on their words. I love it when the females step up to the plate and knock you out!!! The thrills are aplenty with all the manipulations and betrayals. So let's get ready to Mardi Gras every Tuesday people!!! See You on the Flip Side~HEE

"The Casket Girls" 01/14/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

"For centuries people have come to New Orleans looking for a fresh start. Hoping to find fortune, adventure, even love. Young society women imported from France with the promise of marrying a proper New Orleans gentleman like the legendary casket girls. Little did they know that the men who awaited them were far from proper and not at all gentle."

Rebekah narrates the beginning in a flashback to the Louisiana Territory, 1751. Where she rescues three women from their unknown fate.

Present Day New Orleans

People are in the streets celebrating the casket girl legend in typical New Orleans fashion. Rebekah is walking along with a smile on her face.

Davina is still trying to break Cami of Klaus' compulsion, a very painful experience seeing her all sweaty and grimacing.

KEEP CALM and DON'T LOSE YOUR HEAD

Once again this show just pulls me in. Not that I wasn't already hooked from the beginning. We only have the two hour season finale after this my SHF's. (Sleepy Hollow Fans, Followers, Fanatics) So if you haven't watched get to it. If you aren't a fan? What is wrong with you? Just kidding, but seriously what is wrong with you? Enough about me onto the amazing review. See You On The Flip Side, HEE.

"Vessel" 01/13/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

The show begins with Abbie at the cabin waiting for Crane to appear. She is talking, "Listen to me. I know it feels like none of this makes sense and you want to hold onto whatever's left of the life you knew. We both do, but we can't. You told me that. So I need you to take the first step. I'll be right here with you. You won't be alone."

A door opens and Crane steps into the room wearing loafers, skinny jeans and a canvas work shirt. He is definitely not comfortable and tells Abbie this. "Don't understand your obsession with my finery. Demons threaten our very existence with the promise of apocalypse," He goes to sit down in his skinny jeans then stands right back up again. "God's wounds," Abbie is clearly enjoying this too much smiling. Back to Crane, "One sign of the impending apocalypse is surely skinny jeans."
