TV Show Description:

Family is power. The Original Vampire family swore it to each other a thousand years ago. They pledged to remain together, always and forever. Now, centuries have passed, and the bonds of family are broken. Time, tragedy and hunger for power have torn the Original Family apart.

Klaus Mikaelson, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid, has returned to New Orleans, the city his family helped build, the city from which he and his siblings – Elijah and Rebekah – were exiled a century ago by their relentless hunter father. Drawn back by a mysterious tip that a plot is brewing against him in the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter, Klaus is surprised that the city still feels like home to him despite the decades he’s been away.

Curious as to why Klaus would return to the one place he swore he would never set foot again, Elijah follows his brother and learns that the beautiful and rebellious werewolf Hayley – Klaus’ onetime flame – has also come to the French Quarter searching for clues to her family history. Hayley has fallen into the hands of a powerful witch named Sophie Deveraux. When Sophie reveals to the brothers the almost unbelievable news that Hayley is carrying Klaus’ unborn child, Elijah realizes that the Original family has been given a second chance at humanity and the redemption they desperately crave.

"Farewell to Storyville" 03/11/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

I had no idea this was going to be Claire Holt's last episode. I am truly saddened, but let me tell you she rocked this episode. Rebekah helped Klaus and Elijah shine in their darkness. Klaus wanted to kill her with the white oak stake, but Elijah wasn't going to let him hurt their baby sister no matter what. They reminisce on their past and how Mikael's abuse touched them all.

Rebekah tells him she brought Mikael to NOLA so that Klaus would run, but he refuses to believe that. He thinks she wanted him dead. Rebekah tells him Mikael was the lesser of two evils and if she had to do it again she would. Elijah prevents Klaus from staking Rebekah. She flashes away and talks to Marcel on the phone. She warns him to run and don't look back. The brothers talk. More of Elijah trying to calm Klaus, but it doesn't work.

Even after he informs him Rebekah tried to kill Mikael to protect him. Klaus turns the tables with words getting Elijah to throw the white oak stake away. Klaus surprises Elijah as he uses Tunde's dagger on him. Rebekah reappears with the white oak stake. They argue. Klaus wants Rebekah to admit she wanted him dead. She denies his accusation, but he backs her into a corner and keeps badgering her and she does admit that maybe she did want him dead.

He uses the white oak stake on her, but missed her heart. They talk about how broken they are. They blame Mikael for ruining them. Each of them has a hang up and are damaged beyond repair. Rebekah says they are the definition of cursed, always and forever.

The boundary spell is broken and Klaus asks Rebekah what she wants. Home, family, love and to live she answers. He tells her to go and never come back. Rebekah leaves and Klaus watches with tears in his eyes.

Rebekah and Elijah say good bye and she tells him that she was sure Klaus was going to kill her. She hopes he can help Klaus find his way and kisses him on the cheek and leaves.

At the compound Klaus spares Marcel, but Elijah exiles him from The French Quarter.

Oh gosh and Rebekah's last scene with Marcel got me teary-eyed. They're at Esther's grave. She asks Marcel what he's going to do. He says he can't run. Rebekah isn't asking him to, she's no fool. She starts to walk away then turns back to him and says she wished he had finished building their home even if she never set foot inside.

It would've been nice if there was something beautiful still standing after everything that hapened. She goes to leave again, but this time Marcel grabs her and they kiss for the last time. Rebekah tells him good bye and to try and stay alive.

Rebekah visits Hayley out in the bayou to say good bye. She warns her to be careful with Klaus, with everything. She wants Hayley to make sure her niece knows about her crazy auntie Bex and despite her absence she does love her very much.

Klaus remembers Rebekah as a little girl and at the same tie she's driving in her convertible out of NOLA smiling.

See you on the flip side.

  1. Nice article , i want to you all read my article about, Field Programmable Gate Array Market.
The Asia Pacific region is expected to be one of the most attractive markets for the field programmable gate array (FPGA) industry. Several nations within the region such as China, Taiwan, South Korea, etc. have seen significant increase in the consumer electronics sectors in recent years. The FPGA market in the region is thus seen as a big opportunity for development.
