TV Show Description:

Family is power. The Original Vampire family swore it to each other a thousand years ago. They pledged to remain together, always and forever. Now, centuries have passed, and the bonds of family are broken. Time, tragedy and hunger for power have torn the Original Family apart.

Klaus Mikaelson, the original vampire-werewolf hybrid, has returned to New Orleans, the city his family helped build, the city from which he and his siblings – Elijah and Rebekah – were exiled a century ago by their relentless hunter father. Drawn back by a mysterious tip that a plot is brewing against him in the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter, Klaus is surprised that the city still feels like home to him despite the decades he’s been away.

Curious as to why Klaus would return to the one place he swore he would never set foot again, Elijah follows his brother and learns that the beautiful and rebellious werewolf Hayley – Klaus’ onetime flame – has also come to the French Quarter searching for clues to her family history. Hayley has fallen into the hands of a powerful witch named Sophie Deveraux. When Sophie reveals to the brothers the almost unbelievable news that Hayley is carrying Klaus’ unborn child, Elijah realizes that the Original family has been given a second chance at humanity and the redemption they desperately crave.

"Moon Over Bourbon Street" 03/18/14 - Review by Helena E. Eseloma

Klaus seems to be in a sort of spiral which has everything to do with Rebekah leaving. Elijah pretty much tells him to snap out of it, but he'd rather just paint the days/nights away. Elijah then calls a summit with the witches and vampires and hexed Father Kieran.

Meanwhile out in the bayou The Crescent Wolves cure is lifted and they celebrate. Oliver tells Hayley about the summit and she's furious. She barges in and pleads the wolves case to be included. Needless to say the summit ends without solution and Elijah isn't happy with Hayley.

Klaus advises Elijah to gather everyone by having a party, but he has an agenda of his own. Klaus converses with Jackson and offers to give him the quarter back. When Jackson refuses to become a hybrid Klaus explains to him that his mother had a special ring made for his bio-daddy. A moonlight ring that offers control of the beast and the pain of changing. Jackson asks what he has to do?

Davina catches the eye of Oliver, but Monique is there to steal her thunder and "D" walks away upset. The party erupts in the inevitable fight between vampire and wolf factions. It's cut short with a little speech by Hayley that has Elijah and Jackson backing away from killing Oliver and Diego.

Marcel and Cami are lonely and end up in bed together. They are unaware they are being watched by Genevieve. At least Cami is unaware. Marcel meets with Thierry and they come together t get their city back.

Father Kieran continues to decline with his hexed condition and a new player, Francesca, is taking his place on the counsel. She seems to be fascinated with Elijah?

Davina is having a hard time with magic and Monique is not making it any easier, but in the end Josh gets her to have confidence in herself. Back in the greenhouse she blooms all the dead roses and Monique sees and is pissed.

Elijah gets his new peace treaty signed by all the factions even Klaus.

Jackson explains to Oliver his deal with Klaus and that they will be superior to their enemies. This guy obviously doesn't know

Klaus very well does he?
