Zombies- as if that wasn’t enough to ruin any girl’s dream of a happily ever after.

Reagan and her friends escaped Diego and his terrifying plans for them. But maybe that wasn’t the best decision after all.

Without weapons, food or water, survival has become more than bleak. The Mexican wilderness offers little resources to their desperate circumstances and when Feeders find them, there is no hope of salvation.

Until they stumble into a mine and find a miracle waiting for them. But a miracle in the Zombie Apocalypse is a double-edged sword; one they might soon wish had never found them.

Love and Decay, Episode Three is the third episode in Season Three of a novella series in a Dystopian Romance about Zombies, the end of the world and finding someone to share it with.

Book Description:

It was supposed to be a simple job. A favor for a friend, nothing complicated. But that was before I realized who Emma was.

I knew I wasn’t imagining the tension between us–still there and getting stronger every second. She wanted to keep things professional now. I suppose we’d have to try–because if we gave in…once would never be enough…

I never thought I’d see Matt Winter again, and now here he was. Working on my house! Making me nervous, flustered, and almost breathless.

Disarming me and making me feel things I haven’t even considered since my husband died four years ago. No, I don’t want to want him. My life was in order before he came, and I’m leaving Boston anyway. Forget Matt. It’s the only logical option. So…why can’t I stay away from him?

Excerpt:

Wordlessly, she handed him the check. Folding it, he shook his head. “Man, I’m so glad nothing happened between us last night,” he muttered as he stuck the check in his pocket.

Emma’s face crumpled. “What?” she said, feeling insulted and hurt (even though she’d basically given him the longer version of the same sentiment).

With a short, humorless laugh, Matt said, “I don’t need this drama.”

“No one has ever accused me of being overdramatic.”

“If you give me this big of a hassle over a bill, God knows what you’d do to me in bed,” he said.

“I wouldn’t do anything to you! Wait--I didn’t mean it the way it sounded…” she fumbled.

Book Description:

There are always two stories.

Robin fell in love with Kent, the boy next door, a long time ago. Once their romance is rekindled, getting married and starting a family seems like the obvious next step.

But fate throws a wrench in that plan. Now Robin is tempted to walk away from their relationship rather than settle for anything less than perfect with the man she loves.

Bailey is certainly not the boy next door, yet Shayna fell for his well-played act. But real love only exists in the movies.

When a chance encounter binds them together, Shayna finds herself relying on Bailey more than she could ever have expected. And while their resources are slim and their circumstances are far from perfect, she and Bailey slowly discover that they do have something special to give...

I love Kent and Robin!

Okay, so I have been patiently waiting for Kent and Robin to pop in another book and I was not disappointed. Panic by Ryan Ringbloom was perfection. It has been a while since one book made me feel so many things at once. Panic was emotionally charged and I love how it dealt with some incredibly real issues.

Did I mention we got to see Ashley and Patrick? And that there’s a wedding? Squee! But again, I digress. I absolutely adore the way Ringbloom writes her characters. She takes such care developing these interesting, relatable, very real people that you can’t help but root for. In Panic we also get a chance to meet two new characters, Bailey and Shanya, who right off the bat capture your heart with the obstacles they face within the book.

Book Description:

Devlin Ward was a ruthless man. A man born amongst violence with a heavily burdened mind.

He wasn’t the sort of man fairy tales were made of, but he was sinfully beautiful, and addictively seductive.

Dark and dangerous, yet utterly alluring.

I’d fooled myself once, only allowing myself to see the beauty in him despite the shadows I’d glimpsed in his eyes.

When that darkness took over, I ran.

And now he’s found me.

He’d trusted me with his love and now he wants it back. And he’s all too willing to crush my heart to make his whole again.

Juliana betrayed me.

Went against everything I believed in and pushed the monster I tried to keep hidden out into the open.

Our love was twisted—and I’d made it that way. But I wasn’t prepared to let it go.

I hunted her for years, picking up traces of her scent as she moved from city to city to escape me.

Now that I’ve found her, I’m not sure even her fiery light can brighten the blackout she left me in when she walked away.

Excerpt:

Conor exited the car as soon as he spotted us approaching. Within seconds, he was opening my door and waiting for me to climb inside.

“Ready to whisk her away even before I’ve had a chance to kiss her goodbye, Conor?” Liam said, handing the driver my violin case. He set his on the ground by our feet.

I saw Conor’s cheeks redden and it wasn’t from the cold. “Apologies. I’ll jus’ wait in the car then.”

“I’ll only be a minute,” I said, knowing I was blushing, too.

He studied us for a minute, then said, “O’ course, miss.”

Liam swept me into his arms the moment Conor’s door closed. My arms immediately wrapped around his neck, and nothing more needed to be said. Liam slanted his mouth over mine and brought our lips together.
