Feature and Follow Friday #2

Follow along with the Blog Hop hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.  Be sure to follow the Blog Hop Hosts and this weeks featured blogger  and as many other bloggers on the list as you can. Don't forget to add your name to the bottom of the list!

Be sure to post a comment on each bloggers site so they know you have followed and can follow you back.

Q: What is the BIGGEST word you’ve seen used in a book lately – that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.

....Wow, honestly I don't think that's happened to me in a while. I've been reading a lot of YA novels lately and it seems like the words being used are getting smaller and smaller haha.

RULES

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

*(Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
*(Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
*Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
*Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
*If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
*Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
*If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
*If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

  1. I agree, quite a few of the books I've been reading have 'small' words :)

    1. I think a lot of people are taking the whole 'small words' or 'simple words' thing a little too far lately haha :) Thanks for the follow!

  3. Thanks for stopping by my FF post earlier.

    I agree, there really aren't that many 'big words' in contemporary literature - which is good in some ways, and a little sad in others. I know that reading has expanded my vocabulary, I would like the same to be true for my children.

    I am following back via Linky and GFC.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  14. Too bad YA novels are dumbed-down, hey? On the other hand, I suppose they're that way to sell to YA. ^^;

  15. LOL you are so right about the "small words" thing. I think that books are getting more and more plot based instead of focusing on the writing!
