Vampires and Werewolves. They are two of the most well known and popular paranormal creatures today. Bones from Night Huntress or Alcide Herveaux from the Sookie Stackhouse series, etc. This hop is all about the vampires and werewolves! Are you a vampire lover or werewolf lover?
If you had to choose would you cuddle up with your sexy dangerous vampire throughout the long nights or would you rather a sexy testosterone filled dominate werewolf that let out the most interesting of growls at *ahem* fun moments?
I have to admit it is a hard choice I know! I do so love both! But if you had to choose: vampires or werewolves?

So we seem to have a differing of opinions here at Pink Fluffy Hearts while I'm Team Vampire, my fellow reviewer, Angie is Team Werewolf. So since we each have our own loves, you're going to get double the fun here.
Team Vampire
I love my vampires, ever since Interview with a Vampire, and then of course Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I have been fascinated with the thought of immorality and everything that goes along with it. I have a lot of Vampire books, movies, and TV shows that I love. But for today I'm just going to list my top three in each category.
Books
1. Demon in my View - Though nobody at her high school knows it, Jessica is a published author. Her vampire novel, Tiger, Tiger, has just come out under the pen name Ash Night. Now two new students have just arrived in Ramsa, and both want Jessica’s attention. She has no patience with overly friendly Caryn, but she’s instantly drawn to Alex, a self-assured, mysterious boy who seems surprisingly familiar. If Jessica didn’t know better, she’d think Aubrey, the alluring villain from her novel had just sprung to life. That’s impossible, of course; Aubrey is a figment of her imagination. Or is he?
2. Vampire Beach: Bloodlust - THE A-LIST BITES. Jason Freeman is stoked when his family relocates to exclusive DeVere Heights, Malibu. The in-crowd at his posh new high school is surprisingly friendly -- soon Jason's hitting all the best parties. He even meets the token hot-but-unattainable girl.
Determined to enjoy his almost postcard-perfect new life, Jason tries hard to ignore the many strange things going down in DeVere Heights. But then a girl washes up dead the morning after one off-the-hook party -- and with no explanation but a suspicious-looking bite mark. Now Jason has to admit that what you don't want to know can hurt you.
3. Night World: No 1 -
Book 1 - Secret Vampire
Book 2 - Daughters of Darkness
Book 3 - Spellbinder
Vampires, werewolves, witches, shapeshifters -- they live among us without our knowledge. Night World is their secret society, a secret society with very strict rules. And falling in love breaks all the laws of the Night World. In Secret Vampire, Poppy thought the summer would last forever. Then she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Now Poppy's only hope for survival is James, her friend and secret love. A vampire in the Night World, James can make Poppy immortal. But first they both must risk everything to go against the laws of Night World.
Fugitives from Night World, three vampire sisters leave their isolated home to live among humans in Daughters of Darkness. Their brother, Ash, is sent to bring the girls back, but he falls in love with their beautiful friend.
Two witch cousins fight over their high school crush. It's a battle between black magic and white magic in Spellbinder.
Movies
1. Interview with a Vampire
2. The Blade Series
3. Twilight Series
TV Shows
1.Buffy The Vampire Slayer
2.The Vampire Diaries
3.True Blood
Team Werewolf
I think I like werewolves better because I think the whole tie to the moon is fascinating and the lack of blood drinking is a plus. ;) Below is a list of my top five fictional werewolves.
1. Oz - From Buffy The Vampire Slayer
2. Ruby - From Once Upon a Time
3. Tyler - From The Vampire Diaries
4. Alcide - From True Blood
5. Natalie Beres - From

ReplyDeleteYes, Team Wolves!
wolves, are my favorite, alpha badass, oh yeah, give me a wolf every time
ReplyDeletevera28546 at yahoo (dot) com
I am a team werewolf junkie, but I do enjoy the occasional vampire.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the informative stop on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI read both types of books, if it is a good story, then it’s a good story and I’m happy. However, I am drawn to that bad boy, with the rugged good looks. So, weres typically fall into that category.
However, if you’re looking for those rugged vamps, check out The Shadow Wranglers series by Sarah McCarty. The vamps are also friends with some equally rugged weres.
