Following in this weeks tradition. I've decided to list my top five favorite authors. Each of these authors have a special place in my heart and while I might not like every single book some of them have written, I will forever bask in the awesomeness of the ones that I've read and love.
5. Alyssa Rose Ivy - All of Alyssa's books, at least the ones I've read are amazing. She has a way with words and plot that make an array of emotions whirl through me. I'm thankful for her books because they make me believe in love, which I know sounds silly, but her books always inspire this belief that no matter what happens in life you'll find that person that completes you.
4. Fisher Amelie - I love Fisher's Seven Deadly series. Her books are so real and they touch subjects that a lot of authors don't have the finesse or inclination to touch. I've loved both books so far. Fisher's writing touches me so deeply that it resonates me even days after I've put her books down. I'm thankful for her as an author because she makes me think about the bigger issues in life.
3. Samantha Young - I stumbled on Samantha's books accidentally and I am so very glad that I did. She's an amazingly creative author and so far I've loved every book that I've read by her. She's incredibly talented and the way she weaves together her fictional worlds is truly astounding. She's got a way of describing things that makes the picture in my mind so clear. When I read her books I live them. I'm thankful for her as an author because she is proof that new ideas and creativity isn't dead.
2. Janet Evanovich - How could I not love the author who gave me Joe Morelli? Haha yes, he is the perfect man. Janet's Stephanie Plum series is the first series of non YA books that I've read. I bought One For The Money from a used book shop after reading a story online that was built around the plot from the first book. It was amazing and from that point on I devoured one book after another. I even got my best friend into the series. I'm grateful for Janet as an author because she makes reading fun and sexy.
1. Amelia Atwater Rhodes - Amelia will always be my number one author because she's the reason I love to read. Her books are what opened me up to a world of fictional characters that can look like anyone I want! In all honesty her books were and still are easy for me to read and grasp the concept of. Her plots are different and interesting. The worlds she created and how each character fits in with others from different books, it's enthralling. I'm grateful for Amelia because she showed me there was a whole other world to delve into to expand my mind and imagination.
I'm so honored to be on this list! :)
