As I lazily lay here in bed it's come to my attention that for a blog that has 'coffee addict' in the title, I don't actually do a lot of blogging about coffee., which is odd since I practically have a shrine to coffee in my bedroom. (Note this Twitter picture and that's not even all of it) So, my fellow bloggers and I talked, and when I say talked I mean emailed.
And we decided to add a new feature to our blog that's a little more interactive, in which we pick one flavor of coffee (or whatever, I'm told there's more to life than coffee *snonrts* lies) and feature it in a month long post in conjunction with a giveaway of said favorite coffee.
I contacted Keurig a while back and they were super awesome with giving me sample boxes of coffee! (I love you Keurig)
I am madly in love with K-Cups.
Like really.
I could live on k-cups forever and ever and be the happiest girl in the world. So, of course k-cups are what we'll be giving away. I apologize to those of you who don't have Keurig coffee makers (you're missing out) but hopefully at some point we'll be able to get sample packets of regular ground coffee, for all makers.
That being said, lets get into the coffee lovin'!
This months featured flavor is...drum roll please...
Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Coffee by Van Houtte. (It can also be purchased at Amazon for those of us with Prime memberships!)
This is the perfect dessert coffee. It has a smooth bold flavor that slides down your throat leaving an aftertaste of chocolate-fruity goodness. It seriously makes you want to groan, it certainly makes me want to groan. That's how delicious it is.
But don't take my word for it. Enter the giveaway below and win a box for yourself. Be your own judge. (Even though you're only going to find out I'm right. ;)
Now that you know my favorite dessert coffee, why don't you guys tell me yours! (Or tea/beverage for those of you who aren't coffee lovers)
Giveaway: (1) 5 pack sample box of Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Coffee.
I LOVE coffee (and my Keurig!). I did buy one of those little reusable K-cups that you add regular grounds to because I feel bad wasting all that plastic. So for ground coffee, my favorites are any of Dunkin' Donuts' flavored coffees - coconut, mocha mint <3, strawberry shortcake, pumpkin. For K-cups, I really love Green Mountain Coffees; their pumpkin spice, island coconut, and southern pecan are my favorites. I love this feature idea! :D
ReplyDeleteHey Randi!
DeleteYay welcome fellow coffee lover! Huh...I never really thought of that, but I totally should have. You know I think I'll get one too, haha.
OMG I love coconut! I like island coconut and mocha coconut. Wait they have mocha mint??? What brand? I'll have to Google it.
And Strawberry Shortcake coffee? Are you punk'ing me? I want some! Haha I did find Apple Caramel pie coffee by Van Houtte, but I haven't tried it yet so I won't rec' it.
Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I'm absolutely going to try the flavors you suggested! :)
Mocha coconut sounds awesome! :) I think the mocha mint may be seasonal, so I've got to stock up, but it's Dunkin' Donuts brand; my local Dunkin's only had it for a limited time, though, but I bought more at Wal-Mart. Here's a link to the spring flavors of Dunkin's coffee - I haven't tried the berry yet, but the other two are good. Apple Caramel pie sounds so good! I need to keep an eye out for that one!

DeleteI love the mochas. Chocolate and coffee? Yes please.
ReplyDeleteHaha right? Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
DeleteI am a sucker for anything with Hazelnut. I have not tried a lot of dessert coffee though, the only other Kcup I have tried was the German Chocolate one, which was quite tasty!

I've never heard of desert coffee, I am looking forward to finding some at the local specialty shop :D
ReplyDeleteIt's not really dessert coffee, I call it that because it's dessert flavored haha. Like chocolate and stuff like that. But it is delicious! :)
DeleteI like Irish coffee and Hot Mint Julep coffee.
ReplyDeleteOhh that sounds delicious! I'll have to try the hot mint julep. Thanks for stopping by! :)
