Book Description:
Okay, FAST. - Basically you have Robin who has a thing for Kent (the boy next door). Good News!
Kent likes her back. Problem - Robin is a shy timid pain in the ass who needs a wake up call. Hmm, Kent needs a way to fix this. AHA - A plan!
Make Robin jealous with the popular and oh-so slutty, Ashley. How can that plan fail? Well, for starters Robin is not the only one jealous by Kent and Ashley's new-found friendship.
Enter the hot younger brother, Patrick. By the end you have one very happy couple and one not so happy couple. Yikes!
I love Patrick!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to start a review
off that way, but Fast by Ryan
Ringbloom is by far one of the most relatable books I’ve read in a while. I
haven’t loved characters this much in way too long. First, I adore Ringbloom’s
writing style. The book is split into two parts. In the first part we get the
story from Robin and Ashley’s point of view and the second part is told from
Kent and Patrick’s point of view.
I really liked that we got to see what the girls were
thinking and how they were feeling. It was nice to see that even while they
feign certain things to other people in the book, the reader always knows what’s
going through their head. Plus it was awesome to see how they changed and grew
over the course of the book. It was perfection.
